Award Description

The Best Natural Hairstylist Award honors an exceptional emerging Black hairstylist who demonstrates creativity, expertise, and a dedication to promoting natural hair health.

Whether through protective styles, silk presses, trichology services or session styling, the winner will have significantly impacted the natural hair community by helping clients embrace and care for their natural textures.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Best Natural Hairstylist Award, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a practicing professional hairstylist specialising in natural hair.
• Must have at least two years of experience in natural hairstyling.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to promoting natural hair health, creativity, and innovation.

Review and Selection Process

Initial Review:

A judging panel of esteemed hairstylists will evaluate all applications based on creativity, skill, and dedication to natural hair health.

Winner Announcement:

The winner of the Best Natural Hairstylist will be announced at the Gala. Nominees will receive discounted tickets for Tress Gala, where the winner will receive a trophy and be featured across Tressly platforms and media outlets.
