Award Description

The Changemaker Award honours an individual making a meaningful impact within the textured hair industry and wider community.

Through their work, leadership, advocacy or innovation, the winner will have challenged convention, created positive change and helped move the industry forward.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Changemaker Award, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be actively working within or contributing to the textured hair industry.
• Must demonstrate a clear and positive impact on the industry or community.
• Must show a commitment to driving change, championing others or creating new opportunities within textured hair.

This award is by nomination only.

Review and Selection Process

Initial Review:
The Tressly team will evaluate applications based on impact, leadership, innovation and contribution to the textured hair industry.

Winner Announcement:
The winner of the Changemaker Award will be announced at the Tress Gala. Nominees will receive discounted tickets to attend, where the winner will receive a trophy and be featured across Tressly platforms and selected media outlets.
