The Best Barber Award honors an exceptional emerging barber who demonstrates creativity, expertise, and a dedication to Afro-textured hair.

Whether through precision cuts or a memorable customer experience, the winner will have significantly impacted the barbering community by helping their clients feel confident.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Best Barber Award, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a practicing professional barber specialising in Afro-textured hair.
• Must have at least two years of experience in barbering.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to promoting natural hair health, creativity, and innovation.

Review and Selection Process

Initial Review:

A judging panel of esteemed hairstylists will evaluate all applications based on creativity, skill, and dedication to natural hair health.

Winner Announcement:

The winner of the Best Barber Award will be announced at the Gala. Nominees will receive discounted tickets for Tress Gala, where the winner will receive a trophy and be featured across Tressly platforms and media outlets.
