This award celebrates a braider who has made a significant impact in the community through their artistry, from intricate protective styles to bold, creative braids.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Best Braider Award, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a practising professional specialising in braiding.
• Must have at least two years of experience in braiding.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to promoting hair health while showcasing innovation in braiding styles.

Review and Selection Process

Initial Review:

A panel of esteemed hairstylists will review all applications based on creativity, skills, and dedication to hair health through braiding.

Winner:

The Best Braider Award winner will be announced online before Tress Gala. The winner will be invited to attend Tress Gala, where they will receive a trophy and be featured across Tressly platforms and media outlets.
